Creating a class blog

I've created this blog as a tool for the Hybrid Media Lab. Students can post assignments here, as well as their artist's statements, comments on each other's work, links to sites of interest, and links to online media such as Quicktime and MP3 files. What I like best about a blogs is that you get a good sense of the conversation unfolding over time. Also, it's great to see everyone's projects as they emerge. On the down side, a blog with this many participants can get very big very quick, making it difficult to find material. An alternative structure would be a forum. I'll also build one of these so we can choose which we prefer to use (or we might choose to use both : )
